Trading volume
Trading volume is how much of an asset changed hands in a period. It shows the conviction behind a move: strong moves usually come with strong participation.
Trading volume is the total amount of an asset that was bought and sold during a period. It is a measure of participation, of how many people were actually involved in a move rather than how far the price travelled.
Volume gives a price move credibility. A rally on strong, rising volume suggests broad conviction: many participants are willing to pay higher prices. The same rally on thin, falling volume suggests the move lacks support and may not last. In the same way, a decline on heavy volume shows real selling pressure, while a quiet drift lower may simply reflect a lack of buyers rather than aggressive sellers.
Crypto Wealth treats participation as a core input. When a recovery arrives on lighter volume than the decline that preceded it, that imbalance is a warning that buyers have not yet taken control, regardless of the price. Volume turns "the price moved" into "the move had conviction" or "the move was hollow".
